Terms of Service

1) Quotes & assumptions

Quotes are based on the information provided (files, notes, quantity, material, finishing, and any callouts). If information is incomplete, we may quote using standard assumptions (for example: standard tolerances, deburr, or finish). Any assumptions or clarifications will be stated on the quote.

Quotes are typically valid for a limited time due to material and capacity changes. If pricing changes, we’ll re-quote before you’re charged.

2) Lead times, delivery, and expedite

Lead time varies based on material availability, quantity, routing, and finishing. Many jobs ship within 4–6 days, but this is not a guarantee. Confirmed timing and ship method will be listed on your quote or order confirmation.

Expedited options may be available and will be quoted separately. Delays caused by carriers, weather, third-party suppliers, or force majeure events are outside our control.

3) Customer responsibilities

• Provide accurate files, revision level, quantity, material, and requirements.
• Clearly identify critical features, tolerances, finish requirements, and inspection expectations.
• Confirm you own or have permission to use the submitted design files and content.
• Review and approve the quote (including assumptions) before production begins.

4) Revisions & change requests

Changes to files, scope, material, quantity, or finishing after a quote is approved may require a re-quote and can affect lead time. Once production starts, changes may not be possible.

5) Quality, inspection, and acceptance

Parts are produced to the requirements stated on your quote or approved drawing notes. Unless otherwise specified, standard commercial practices apply for tolerances, cosmetic variation, and minor handling marks.

You agree to inspect parts promptly upon receipt. If there is an issue, notify us in writing as soon as possible with photos and a clear description. We’ll work with you on a reasonable path (replacement, rework, or credit) when appropriate.

6) Payment & taxes

Payment terms are provided on your quote or invoice. Orders may require payment before release. You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and fees unless otherwise stated.

7) Intellectual property & confidentiality

You retain ownership of your submitted designs. We use your files only to evaluate, quote, and fulfill your request. We do not sell your information. If you need a formal NDA, ask before submitting sensitive files.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corpek is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including downtime, lost profits, or lost production). Corpek’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific affected order.

9) Warranty disclaimer

Except as explicitly stated on a quote or in writing, services and parts are provided “as is” and “as available.” Customer is responsible for ensuring the design is fit for the intended purpose.

10) Order cancellation

If you cancel before production begins, we’ll do our best to minimize costs. If production has started or materials have been purchased, cancellation may result in charges for work completed and non-returnable materials.

11) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
